If I make it through the next week and a half without putting my gpa in jeopardy or making a fool of myself, it will be some kind of miracle.

I have my written screening test on Tuesday. Picture this: one test, 15 instruments, 5 questions about each instrument. Oh, and these questions are about anything. And by anything I mean, whatever the professor things might be important - good method books, how to finger notes, how to hold the instrument, who should play the instrument, anything. Oh, and by the way, this test determines if I graduate or not. And to make it even better, there's still part 2 and 3 to come, so just wait, you'll hear more about this...

Physics test on Tuesday, which means mega homework assignment due that day too. (By this I mean 5 chapters, 8 questions on each chapter due that day.) I'm half way through that, and hoping for a miracle where the test is concerned.

Giant paper due soon. Yup, haven't started that one yet. Might be due Wednesday. Might not...

Make a newspaper to send home to your fictional class for my online class. We'll worry about this one Tuesday night I think.

Oh right, I'm heading up initiations on Wednesday in front of all of the old ladies of the Ann Arbor Alumni chapter of Mu Phi. Let's just hope I don't mess this one up.

Band-o-rama is on Saturday. My last band concert, how sad!!

Next Tuesday - Aural Screening. This is where they give me a piece of music to study and then I get up in front of some of the professors (mostly the band directors and orchestra directors) and they get to ask me whatever they want about the piece. I might have to sing (actually I will have to) and talk about chords and instrument parts and forms. I haven't talked about this stuff on any sort of daily basis in like 2 years. This ought to prove interesting.

I guess it's true, when it rains, it pours.

Anyway, I could use some kind words right about now. I can't wait for Southwind's banquet weekend to get here. Like a little mini vacation for me. It'll be great!!

Well, time to get to work!
