I am offically one of the crazy people...

I went out this morning at 5:15 a.m. to go shopping. That's right, I was one of them. Sports Authority had a $600 Mongoose bike on sale for $200. I had to go get it! (Since my last bike was stolen! Read further down, sometime in October if you want to know more.)

Anyway, it was strange. I got in a line with all of these other nutcases and we rushed into the doors as they opened at 5:30. There were the bikes, 5 of them lined up next to the door. My dad grabbed the fourth one. So I got my new bike! (Dual shocks, 21-gear, yahoo!!)

Next to Circut City to drop my brother off. CC opened at 6. When we got there at 20 till, there was a line around the store. So out jumps Eric to get in line. Mom and I went to JoAnn Fabric's and Target to pass the time out of the rain. The ladies in line for JoAnn's were crabby! They were so anxious to get inside and get this sewing machine for $90. Target had a line longer than a football field. Most of the people were there for a DVD player and 8 speaker home theater system for $88.

I'm not sure that I'll ever do that again, but it was an adventure, that's for sure!

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

Well, that's one way to end a party...

So first off, Sonic was the sweetest thing ever!! (It's an indoor marching ensemble, kind of like blast). When we played today, everyone went crazy!! The whole night was one of the most amazing musical experiences of my life. Everything was so great! I can't really put all of this into words. Sonic was my chance to do drum corps (or something like it) one more time. (and we get to do it again Feb. 17th!!!)

Then Bash-o-rama. It was great! That is until these random guys came and started the biggest fight I've ever witnessed. It was crazy! They were fighting all "Tom and Jerry Style" (thanks to Brian Woodcox for that one) in the street! Everyone that I know it good, so that's all that matters to me.

More about sonic later I'm sure, but for now, I'm going to sleep!

And then there's the other kind of days...

Where nothing goes quite right. I forgot to order the Mu Phi pizza for the luau lunch this week. I couldn't believe I'd done that. Then I felt sick after dinner, so I laid down, and totally slept through a lesson that I was supposed to be teaching. I haven't done anything like that in such a long time!!! Due to my sleeping in, I didn't get to see the President's Own (the marine band). They were at Pioneer H.S. tonight at 7:30. Well, my lesson was supposed to be over right at 7:30, so I could get there and just be a few minutes late. That is, if I hadn't slept through the lesson! Luckily the mom was super cool about it. But still no marine band. Oh well I guess. I'll get to see them one day. Just wish I hadn't done so much stupid crap.

On a much happier note, Ryan Lewis is wonderful. That's all I have to say about that.

Have a great night everybody!

Don't you just love days when...

Everything just seems to work out. This huge misunderstanding on Monday caused all this drama for me about a concert, a wedding and a 50th wedding anniversary. But thank goodness that's all over and done with!

My EDPS class is crazy. The professor is scatter brained, and the people in the class take forever to understand things. It makes for an interesting 2 hours!

Well, off to marching band. 2nd to last out door rehearsal. Kinda sad. I've been in marching band for the last 8 years, and with drum corps, I've been marching for 2 1/2 of those almost non-stop. It's gonna be sad, but my hip and hamstring are saying it's time to let it go.

Have a great day!!!
