You've gotta check this out. You know you're a drum corps dork if you're laughing. (Thanks for sharing Zach!)

Alright this is really disgusting, but I felt the need to share it anyway. Don't say I didn't warn you, it's really, really gross. Gro-oss (that's a two syllable gross.)

This little girl just wants to get better and never be sick again. (And I really was taking vitamins and sleeping this time!)

*Life is too short for drama and petty problems.. so kiss slowly * love truly * forgive quickly... life is too short to be anything but happy... so take chances .. give everything and have no regrets*
I stole this from Zoe, I really liked it and it kind of made me happy, so I decided it needed to be posted here.
oh yeah, and I had another crazy dream. There was some kind of chemical warfare type thing released in Idaho (yeah, I don't know why there, but that's where it was.) The weird thing is that no one was at all scared and I just went inside and started to duct tape the windows. I was really worried that the duct tape would leave permanent marks, so I gave up and went outside to hang out with the tons of people that were out there. Like I said, everyone was just hanging out, not at all scared, but talking about the chemical thing. And the news kept showing a map of the U.S. with an ever growing purple cloud over it. It was weird.
Snow Day
Yahoo for a snow day. I get to catch up on my work!
And I ordered a new computer today! It should be here after I get back from Arizona. All right, time to get back to working on stuff. Sorry there hasn't been much here lately, I've been super stressed out and haven't had much time.
Oh and by the way, this weekend was pretty sweet.

Sometimes what you are thinking is hard to explain, and even harder for you to tell someone. But the truth is best, right? Rather let someone know how you really feel than to dance about it.
Grrr on life being complicated.

Strange week.
First off, to a friend, I love you, and no matter what you do during the summer, I will always love you. You have taught me so much about what it truly means to be loyal to something that you care for. You are what made me want to do anything I could to make sure that what I care for does not go away. You have inspired me. Thank you. Now, it is time to take care of yourself for a little while. You have trained all of us well, and we will try our hardest to be sure that you are not let down. Thanks for all the memories, and in advance for the many more to come. Oh, and thanks for the best hugs on the planet.
Speaking of hugs, they are such a wonderful thing. Espically from one of your best friends. Espically when it means they're not fed up with your worrisome, crazy, mellodramatic, hypocondratic, sometimes self-centered ways. Thanks. I needed that.
It's off to Lexington, Kentucky and to my beloved Southwind. Who ever thought that this "little girl" would grow up to care so deeply for this thing that made her a bad ass. (Sorry if that sounds like I have an ego, but a little bit of admitting your bad assness is never a bad thing.)

And they were all yellow
I'm beginning to think that wearing a certian yellow uniform does something to your brain. I don't think I can explain it, and if I tried, I think only those that had worn this uniform that I speak of would have a clue what I meant. (And I would only have to say a word or two to those of you out there, and you'd get it.) The mello line shirt from last year was more correct than anyone ever imagined. If I had to explain it, you wouldn't understand. How true those words ring in my life. SW kids, each and everyone of you holds a very special place in my heart. Everyone of you. No matter how much or little we spoke, each and everyone of you know's what I'm talking about. There are somethings that you can only learn from the yellow team (or so I think.)
Alright, enough of this.
Goodnight ya'll.

I regret to inform you...
Aparantly over the weekend, Britney Spears got married. Or at least that's what People had to say. And it has to be true, CNN's reporting the same thing. Well, sort of reporting, they refrence the article in people. Spears was aparantly married because she thought it'd be funny. How jaded are you when you decide that getting married would be funny?
And on a totally different note, there was a 97-year old woman found alive in all of the reckage of the earthquakes in Iran yesterday. That made me smile. Experts had said that people couldn't have survived 3 days under the wreckage, and here is this wonderful, very elderly woman, still alive. Made me smile, so I thought I'd share.

Interesting Reads:
Found some interesting stuff to look over today while at work. I'll be adding them to my links in the coming days.
Call Centre Confidential
An interesting blog from some anonymous guy that works at a catalogue call center in London. It's about the daily escapades at work, and is quite humorous.
Beagle 2 Weblog
The famed, and possible doomed Beagle 2's blog. Well, not the actual Beagle, but the team of scientists in charge of it. Some interesting stuff about how they built it, and the dissapointment about not finding the signal from it on Christmas and the days following.
The Blogdex
The most popular things coming out of blogs at the moment. Currently topping the list is a fairly interesting picture of Times Square at midnight on New Years Eve. An interesting Banished Words List compiled by LSSU is also topping the list.
2 Flower to You
A blog by a homeschooling mother. Takes a while to load, but take a look. An interesting, non-offensive republican point of view. (Hard to believe, I know.)
Zefrank
All kinds of random fun stuff. You have to go here. You can make those little snowflakes we all made when were were little online. I'm telling you, go here, it's endless fun. (Thanks to ChasingDaisy for showing me all of that. Check her out, her blog is definately worth your time!)
One is the loneliest number
Well, I've realized that I can never live by myself. I'm here in Ypsi by my lonesome, and it's not cool. Luckily the boys from Apt. 200 have been taking care of me. Last night was great!! Then today (after I got moving at like 2:30!) I went over there and was a fat kid while watching the Rose Bowl. (Michigan had such bad luck!)
It was great, but when I came home I realized that I don't really like to be alone. It's funny, cause there are times where I love it. I can't wait to get back to my apartment and be by myself, but not lately. It's funny the things you see about yourself when you are, well, alone.
I think that's part of the reason why I loved drum corps so much. You are never alone. For 3 solid months there are always people around you. And even better, they're all people that care about you! What a utopia. No real worries, completely focused on one thing, people that care, having to be really independent while at the same time not really being independent at all. I miss it. (Lucky that I get to go on the road again this summer!!!)
Well, I'm going to again attempt to sleep. It's not working out so well for me since I was lazy all morning, and afternoon, and really evening too. Hopefully the Nyquil that I took for my cough will knock me out soon.
Good night, and may all of your New Year's hopes and dreams come true.
