We're going streaking!

Hey there! Well anyway, not much has changed since I last blogged. I still don't have a bike, and I'm still super busy.

Anyway, tonight i hung out with a bunch of good friends until too late, but it was great! I really need to do that more often. It was fun, we were all being too silly.

On a way sadder note, my mom's boss died. While this may not seem like much to most people, I'm really pretty upset about it. If it weren't for him my life would have been so much different. He let my mom bring me and my brother into work with her, and let her leave for so many things that other places would not have. Anyway, I'll wirte more on it later. I just really hate losing people. Teto was so wonderful to my family. He will be missed.

Goodnight, I really need to get some sleep!

if you've got bolt cutters and like to steal bikes, raise your hand

So, my tendonitis in my hamstring hasn't hurt for like 4 days. I decided that today would be a great day to go ride my bike to tbcy after practice. I grab all my stuff to go for a ride, and what do I find? Some cheap huffy bike with my lock wrapped around it. Well, there goes $200. So now I'm taking someone elses stolen bike to the Ypsi police so maybe they can ride their bike again. Great way to end a pretty darn good day, isn't it.

So long sweet summer

I love drum corps. It was one of, if not the greatest thing I've ever done. I had to overcome all sorts of physical, mental and emotional barriers. It's the greatest high you can ever be on. Being around 150 people that you can trust, and you know trust you.

What stinks is the aftermath. When you're thinking about those days on the road, who do you tell? When you hear that song, and it makes you think of something funny from the summer, who do you share that with? I'm lucky in that I go to school with 7 people that I've marched with, so there's almost always someone that I can talk with. I just hate when we're talking about it and we end up alienating everyone around us.

I don't mean to have this private conversation in public, and make everyone else feel as if they aren't included, but this was the greatest thing that I've ever done, and it just happens that sometimes (and espically for the first few months when I get home) I have these vivid memories, that I hold so dear, and want to talk to someone about them. I can understand why this might become uninteresting to those who were not there this summer, but to me these memories are some of my most valuble possessions. Sorry if my withdrawl becomes tiresome, but sometimes I just can't help it I guess.

I am not being snappy!

Hey there everybody!

I'm really going to be better about this, I swear, I just have to get back in to the groove of it.

Well, good news, I am now the principle of the horns in Wind Symphony! That is super exciting, but also a bit nerve racking! Just means I have a really good reason to practice! (As if my senior recital weren't enough.)

School has started again, and so have the classes. I have math this semister. This should be interesting, I haven't had math for four years, please wish me luck!

Hmmm... that's all that I can think of for now, so I guess I'm signing off so that I can get to the homework that I have thus far been very successful in putting off. (But on the bright side, while I was putting off my homework, I got my room clean and organized!)

Talk at you later!
